Dermipsor Ltd was founded in January 2004 by Dr. Avikam Harel and Dr. Olga Bloch of the Pediatric Dermatology Unit & The Gino Stock Dermatophysiology Laboratory, Dana Children’s Hospital, Tel Aviv. The company's technologies derive from many years of intensive research into the effect of various therapeutic agents on different skin conditions.

From its inception and until October 2007 Dermipsor Ltd operated within the framework of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Incubator Program at the Meytag Hi-Tech Ventures Incubator, which is controlled by Capital Point Ltd.

Since November 2007 the company has operated independently.
