Zeev Even-Chen PhD – CEO

27 years experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical Industry in Israel, specializing in Clinical and Regulatory Affairs in Israel, Europe and USA. Dr. Even-Chen serves as Dermipsor’s CEO since 2005. Formerly VP Clinical & Regulatory Affairs at Notal Vision Inc, and Clinical Development Director at Peptor Ltd. (responsible for designing the International clinical program for DiaPep277 in Insulin Depended Diabetes Mellitus). Prior to that Dr. Even-Chen was the manager of the Biotechnology Division and the Specialities Division at Sigma Israel Chemicals Ltd, directing the fermentation, down-stream processing, purification, and R&D activities. At Bio-Technology General Ltd., Dr. Even-Chen was Project Manager, directing the development of a new recombinant vaccine against Hepatitis B.  Dr. Even-Chen was also a Project Manager at Inter-Pharm Ltd., directing the development of recombinant b-Interferon production and scale-up in mammalian cells (CHO), including development of a computerized, fully automatic system, for growing the CHO cells for b-Interferon production.   Dr. Even-Chen obtained his PhD degree from The Weizmann Institute of Science, and did his post-doc at the University of California Davis.
